One Day.

One of these days I'll have time to really update. Ya know like take down the Christmas background post GOOD pictures of my munchkins. That sort of thing. That day may not come until we are completely unpacked AND un-thawed! There is so much snow here it's INSANE! Our week trek across 9 states during "the worst winter in 50 years" to our new duty station was actually rather un-eventful. I should have taken pictures, lots of them, but really when you're driving in a car with 2 small kids and a guinea pig by the time you stop who wants a camera in their face?! We were blessed to only have to be in a motel for 2 nights before our house was ready. Kevin and I braved the wind and snow and unloaded the massive 26ft truck in about 2 hours while the kids ran circles through their playroom/jack and jill bath/bedroom. We are definately looking forward to spring where we can enjoy all that New York and the surrounding states have to offer! And love even more that family doesn't seem so far away like they were when we were in Germany. Driving from Em's to NY was the last leg of the trip and while I anticipated it to be the 'longest' it went quite fast. We are excited to share summer activities with them!

These were the day after we moved in. The kids thought it would be fun to go play in the snow while I unpacked. They barely got out the back door. They still aren't completely on the ground there's still a few inches of snow they're standing on!

These were taken today after another 1/2 a foot or more has dropped since moving in. (It's snowed everyday since we moved in) The fence is your standard 6ft fence. We are however, excited at the prospect of this LARGE yard this spring/summer. I'm begining to wonder though if it will be August before we see the ground!

I'll get more pictures of the house and all that soon!
