She has always wanted to learn and had a thirst for new facts. Lately she has blown me away with her questions. Some, I admit, I have pretended to ignore and changed the subject because I have NO IDEA how to answer her! Here's some of her inquiries:
Family Prayer:
The other night during family prayer it was my turn and I said something along the lines of "let their hearts be softened". Amarisa's question... what does hearts be softened mean?
Song Lyrics:
I've never paid much attention to my kids listening to the same music as me because lets face it you can't really go wrong with country, oldies, musicals, disney and church music. So of course we're rocking out to Reba the other day and out of the backseat Amarisa pipes up...Mom what does 'taste your kiss' mean?
Rhyming:
She can't stick with the basics like ball and fall and fox and box. Nope, she wants to know what rhyms with words like....princess, my little poney and chocolate.
I fear the future with this one! Perhaps I've bitten off more then I can chew in homeschooling for kindergarten...we shall see! I do LOVE that she has such a thirst for knowledge and PRAY she continues to work so hard at absorbing so much!
