What's that saying...the road through life is paved with good intentions...or something like that?! I very well could have butchered it but it sounds good anyway. I fully intended to post a picture a day when Kevin left over a month ago but it's been so crazy around here and we haven't done anything super picture worthy really. We had fully intended on the kids and I being moved back to the states by now. But with all things around here it seems, we have had to fight like crazy to get the paperwork pushed through. 2 1/2 almost 3 months later it's finally getting where it needs to be. Although we don't have our official "yes you can move" orders I've been prepping like crazy so when they do come I can get the movers here, the truck shipped, flight arrangements made, living arrangements where we're goin, all that crazy good stuff done immediately. While we are extremely excited about this prospect it's been pretty stressful. For one I haven't said anything to the kids because right now they just think daddy's at school they don't know that immediately following school he deploys again. And not having the official word I would of course end up with the question a million times a day...when are we going, and no answer to give them. Also with the craziness comes the question of what to ship and what Kevin will need left behind. Let me tell ya going through 10 years of military gear trying to figure out what he'll need and what he won't when I don't know what half the stuff is to begin with is rather fun. Might be pretty comical when he comes back to pack for the deployment and wonder why in the heck I thought he'd need silverware instead of his kevlar! haha So that's what I've been up to organizing, painting, fixing, painting, cleaning, painting....
Hopefully we hear something "official" Monday or Tuesday! Would sure be nice to know what's up! It keeps us on our toes though that's for sure!
